Registration Procedure & Virtual University

Assalmu Alaikum,

Recent updates to the virtual software have made it really first and efficient. Registration process has got its pace and has become much more problem free. Thanks to the responsible officials for these advancements.

Never-the -less Section Interchange among the students during registration is a serious problem and ultimately hinders the reg. process. If this issue becomes a mania for all the students of a section then it becomes really problematic for the reg. supervisors. The interchange problem can be removed by introducing a block option of registering a student of one section in to another section into virtual software. Registering a student into another section is embarrassing and disturbing for the supervisor and his/her denial to register into a different section sometimes also become ineffective as there is no blockage to get registered in to different section in the software system.
 
So, the inclusion of blockage option of registering into different section of a student in spite of having seats in the regular section will ultimately ease and speed up the registration procedure and will make it smoother.

I do agree with you that section interchanging by students is really a great problem. It should be block up-to core courses. Because remaining courses are chosen by different aspects of a student.

We hope authority will take the right step from next semester.

I also do agree with Ms. Zinnatun Nesa. Section interchange by students really creates problem for us. But only blockage option can not retain students from knocking at our door. There is a blockage system in student enrollment if capacity is filled and we can not increase the seat capacity. This is not under our control to extend the capacity. But students don't even understand this. They just request n request. Students should understand, this can only be done by the proper authority.

I also do agree with you that section interchanging by students is really a great problem. When among the students are starting their registration it becomes an issue for all the students to select the section and matching their exam schedule. Some of the student they registration into a different section sometimes also become ineffective as there is no blockage to get registered. Because the number of students they are not aware the blockage system.

We hope our authority will take the right steps to solve this problem.

During Admission process one section is opened after filling up the existing one with 40 students.In 1st semester we inform the students in which section they are belonging to , like 1-40 sec A then 41-80 Sec B and so on.But in onward semesters they do change their sections by themselves which should be prevented from the dpt as well.The main reason they raise that some of my class mates with whom I would do my assignment are in the other sections so I badly need to change my original section.Sometimes they dont inform at all just go for it secretly which create a problem to the existing students of that section.
