Warrant of Precedence for the People's Republic of Bangladesh

“Warrant of Precedence” was the talk of the town at the end of 2014. So many confusions arose with this issue. Beginning of 2015, we, the colleagues were talking about this issue & found that still this issue, present Warrant of Precedence is not clear to people, even not clear to some of the people who are enjoying the status. I felt like sharing the Warrant of Precedence in forum. Information is taken from internet, especially from Wikipedia, which page was last modified on 13 November 2014, at 09:04.

The following is the Bangladesh Table of Precedence. Persons included in the same number on the first level list will take precedence according to the date of entry into that number. When a person holds more than one position in the table, he will be entitled to the highest position accorded to him.

       Prime Minister of the Republic

       Speaker of the Parliament
4.
       Chief Justice of Bangladesh
       Former Presidents of the Republic
5.
       Cabinet Ministers of the Republic
       Chief Whip
       Deputy Speaker of the Parliament
       Leader of the Opposition in Parliament
6.
       Persons holding appointments accorded status of a Minister without being members of the Cabinet
7.
       Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and High Commissioners of Commonwealth countries accredited to  Bangladesh.
8.
       Chief Election Commissioner.
       Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission.
       Deputy leader of the Opposition in Parliament.
       Judges of the Supreme Court (Appellate Division)
       Ministers of State of the Republic
       Whip.
9.
       Election Commissioners.
       Judges of the Supreme Court (High Court Division)
       Persons holding appointments accorded status of a Minister of State.
10.
       Deputy Ministers of the Republic

Thanks Riaduzzaman. For Second part, yesterday I prepared the summary of hearing of the appeal against the High Court order on the Warrant of Precedence. But unfortunately a problem occurred in my PC with the electricity problem & I found my write up was not saved. Including that, I lost  some of my works yesterday! It made me little upset. IT department checked my PC few minutes back. Hope I will not face the problem again InshAllah. 

Anyway, I will give the newspaper link of verdict with the rest of the list (11 to 25) in Second part whenever I will be free.

Noone seems to be satisfied with this new Warrant of Precedence specially who are in the Executive department of the State.
