Abstract:
Knit garments have been thriving since last decades in our country. Bangladesh has been placed second in knit garment export after China recently. In this regard the production of knit garment and its research has been developing day by day. We have studied different knitting machines and knitted fabrics like Single Jersey, Rib and Interlock and their parameters. The purpose of the study is to focus on different knitting parameters and their functional relation. We have collected empirical datas and hence compare them with theoretical datas. In case of Single Jersey, Rib and Interlock fabric it is seen that practical value of G.S.M or finished G.S.M is higher than that of theoretical grey G.S M. In this project work, we have tried to find out the relation and discuss the reason with available datas.
