Irina madam,

Some of the time, it is difficult to come to a conclusion with a simple test. A person might be fake, opportunist and pretentious like Wickham in Pride and Prejudice. So actually time determines who is your friend. It is really unwise to accept someone unworthy( no matter how much scholar or wealthy s/he is )  as friend.

Simple test is not enough but it's interesting.

Sometimes it is really difficult to find a true friend by this simple test. It may take a decade(!) to recognize a true friend.
