Hospital pharmacy is a core subject of the syllabus of B.pharm pharmacy. There are opportunities to work as hospital pharmacists in several hospital. Square hospital is one of the leading hospitals in Bangladesh which is practicing clinical hospital pharmacy for several years. It was a great opportunity to visit the hospital as well as observing the practices. The students of 3rd year was enable to receive the opportunity. On 1st day-08/10/2016, at 2.30 p.m 20 students were entered the premises of Square Hospital. They visited IPD, OPD,Inventory and other facilities of the hospital pharmacy. Same as 1st day, students also visited the hospital on 09/10/2016 and 10/10/2016. Total visit was conducted by Pharmacist Jahid of Square hospital. The visit was arranged and guided by guided by Farjana Islam Aovi, Lecturer, Dept of pharmacy.We are grateful to Prof. Sitesh C Bachar, Consultant of Square hospital without him this visit was not possible. we are also thankful to Farhana Israt Jahan ,Senior Lecturer,Shadia Afrin Brishti and Sabrina Chowdhury raka,Lecturer for their co operation. We hope this approach will be continued in future for making the students more compatible and confident for pharma job market.
