MOTIVATIONAL STORIES
« on: April 02, 2017, 01:36:11 PM »
An orphanage in a remote village in Vietnam was bombed in the Vietnam War. Many children were wounded and some died. The French missionaries who owned the orphanage and the vigilant villagers tried their best to rescue the children. But medical care was not available. Some of them ran to the neighbouring town and sent a message to the MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) Unit of the American military. The mobile medical unit rushed to the orphanage with a team of doctors, nurses and other staff and started their operation to save the wounded children. An eight year old little girl was badly wounded. She had lost a lot of blood and was in a very critical state. The only step to save her life was an immediate blood transfusion.
They examined her blood. It was of a very rare group. A donor with a compatible blood group was needed urgently. None of the members of the medical team or the staff of the orphanage or the available villagers had a matching blood group. They tested the blood of the children and identified a few little boys with the required blood group. As the members of the team were not proficient in the local language, they could not communicate with the boys clearly. They tried their best to request them to volunteer to donate blood to save the dying girl. One little boy stepped forward, ready to donate his blood. During the transfusion he started to sob and appeared to be mentally disturbed. The staff tried their best to console him. But they failed. Then a Vietnamese nurse arrived. She talked to the boy and inquired in the local language about the cause of his worry. She had a long conversation and hearing her words of assurance, the boy appeared to be remarkably relieved. His sobs were replaced by a smile. He was peaceful and jubilant. The nurse then explained the real situation. When the team requested his blood to save the girl, the poor boy had a major misunderstanding. He thought that they were demanding ALL the blood in his little body. He believed that when all his blood is drained, he would die. Still he was ready to offer his blood to save the girl. The barrier of language made the team unable to explain the details to him. The words of the local nurse consoled him considerably.
The American staff then inquired why the boy volunteered to donate his blood though he feared it would end his life. The Vietnamese nurse replied that she had asked the same question to the boy. His answer was, “Because she is my friend!”
Let us learn to love one another. The greatest love a person can have for his friends is to be willing even to give his life for them”

True love will always find it’s way
This guy from England and this girl from Bangladesh met online, and gradually began to chat to each other regularly and became good friends
After a few months, they expressed their love for each other. They were happily inlove for a few weeks, until one day suddenly the girl stopped responding to the guys messages.
He waited and waited ..
Weeks passed, and he still sat by his internet awaiting her message, but nothing..
He was scared something had happened to her, his heart felt like it did but eventually he accepted the fact that their relationship was over. He was heartbroken .. He cried himself to sleep everyday reading her old love messages.
After a few years, he had just started university. After all this years, he stayed away from girls because he couldn’t stand the heartbreak, but one girl took his fancy. A beautiful women, it was weird as he never even looked at girls before, but there was something special about her. So he approached her, but was rejected instantly.
Boy: I’m sorry, if I offended you by saying I liked you.
Girl: It’s not your fault .. It’s just that I’m already in love with someone ..
Boy: Oh right, I’m sorry. Your already taken
Girl: Actually no.. I fell in love with a boy three years ago, he was from here, but due to the circumstances I had to leave him, but now as an excuse to study I have come here in search of him..
Boy: Wow! Actually I’ve been through something similar!
Girl: Really? What was her name?
Boy: Alisha .
They embraced each other and burst into tears!
Boy: Why did you leave me??
Girl: I met with a car accident, and was in the hospital paralysed for a year .. I only fully recovered 6 months ago. Everyone thought I was going to die, but the thought of seeing you kept me alive. When I got better, I planned to come and see you to surprise you, you told me you would only want to go to this university so I applied here too.

MORAL: True love will always find it’s way; No matter what obstacles are in it’s path. If your love is true; Just wait for it to find you

I am in a tiny steel cage attached to a stuttering through traffic in Dhaka,Bangladesh. In the last ten minutes,we have moved forward maybe three feet, inch by inch, the driver wrenching the wheel left and right, wriggling deeper into the wedge between a delivery truck and a rickshaw in front of us.
Up ahead, the traffic is jammed so close together that pedestrians are climbing over pickup trucks and through empty rickshaws to cross the street. Two rows to my left is an ambulance, blue light spinning uselessly. This is what the streets here look like from seven o"clock in the morning until ten o"clock at night. If you"re in a rickshaw, breathing in the exhaust.
Alleviating traffic congesting is one of the major development challenges of our time.Half the world"s population already lives in cities, and the United Nations estimates that the proportion will rise to nearly 70 percent by 2050.Dhaka,the world"s densest and fastest growing city,is a case study in how this problem got so bad and why it"s so difficult to solve.
Think about all this from a Bangladeshi politician"s point of view.Any attempt to solve the traffic mess means annoying the poor, the middle class, and the rich all at once.

One day he received a call from old age home saying that his mom is very serious and was asked to come for visit.

When he visited the home age he saw his mother dying on bed.

He went near his mother and asked “Mom what can I do for you?”

His Mother replied “My Dear Son I want you to install fans in old age home,

there are none in the home now and also a fridge for food storage because many times foods get spoiled and I slept without food”.

Son was surprised with his mothers request and asked her “You dint asked me or complained for anything so many day and asking now only when few hours of life is left out

Mom replied to his Son “Dear I was able to manage with the heat and hunger pain, but when your children send you here you will not be able to manage all these pain”.

Saying this, mother died and leaving tears in his son eyes.

MORAL : Whatever we do to with our parents, those happen with us by our children.
History repeats itself.

This is a moral story about love and friendship.
A college Professor discovers a street baby dog wandering around the train station, he takes the adorable lost puppy home with him. He convinces his wife to let the dog stay temporarily. He and his puppy become great buddies soon. They start to share a beautiful bond that cannot be broken. After seeing the interaction between the two, professor's wife permanently keeps the dog. They give him a beautiful name "Hachi". As Hachi grows up, he bonds more deeply with his human friend. The dog is so devoted to the professor that he accompanies him every day to the train station to his work. At night, Hachi waits just outside the station doors for him to return for a joyous reunion and the walk to home. Others notice and appreciate this loving ritual.

On one very sad day, the professor leaves town for his work . He becomes deathly ill there. That's why he never returns to the station again. Even after he passes away, Hachi faithfully returns to the station everyday for the next nine years, until his death. He waits for his beloved master. Although his daughter tries to take care of the dog, but Hachi keeps escaping to the station to wait for his friend. The seasons pass and still Hachi, now a very old dog, waits. At one point, Hachi dies at the same place where the professor found him.

This amazing dog touches the hearts of the vendors, the stationmaster, and the many travelers at the station. He teaches them the true meaning of loyalty, devotion, and love.

Salema was running to and fro begging money for her sick child. Her husband, who is a hawker, was out of town in order to earn money. She tried so many times to contact with her husband over phone but there was no network at all. The doctor told her to arrange the injection for her two years old sick son within half an hour which would cost around thirty thousand taka. There was nobody who would lend her the money. After begging for some time, Salema started crying madly siting on the middle of the footpath. She felt that she was going to lose her child forever. At that time, a student was going to his university for paying his semester and tuition fees which was the same amount of money that the woman needed. Seeing Salema and hearing her story, the student decided to give her the money because he knew that a child's life is more important than his one semester. He could drop the semester and wait four months more to complete his graduation but the child's life could not wait for the money.
18 years later, the student is now a professor of a university and that child is his student at the same university.
Moral: A little sacrifice can save a life and you just need a kind heart to help anybody.

topic: A moral story on sacrifice of a father

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 year’s old highly educated son.
Suddenly a crow perched on their window.
The Father asked his Son, “What is this?”
The Son replied “It is a crow”.
After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, “What is this?”
The Son said “Father, I have just now told you “It’s a crow”.
After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time,
What is this?”
At this time some expression of irritation was felt in the Son’s tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. “It’s a crow, a crow, a crow”.
A little after, the Father again asked his Son the 4th time, “What is this?”
This time the Son shouted at his Father, “Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times ‘IT IS A CROW’.
Are you not able to understand this?”
A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary:-
“Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again and again for 23 times.
I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child”.
While the little child asked him 23 times “What is this”, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

I was walking over the footpath of Farmgate. Meanwhile I saw a little girl was trying to cross the big road. I walked faster to that girl and helped her to cross the road. Then I asked for her identity. She was Sumaya. Her father, Rafiq Hasan, is a rickshaw puller. And her mother, Rahima Begum, is a servant. They are so much poor. Sumaya has only one elder brother. He is an autistic. I went to their slum. Sumaya's parents was not there. But I found her brother. He can not walk. After a while Sumaya's mother came. I listened to their talks of hard days. I gave Sumaya's mother 5000 taka and promised that I will be back within a week with a proper proposal which might make them happy.
Helping poor people is not a bad thing. Every religion says that helping is a great virtue. We do not become mean by this kind of activities. Everyone should help poor and weak people.

Topic : A story of love.
There was a blind girl who was filled with animosity and despised the world. She didn't have many friends, just a boyfriend who loved her deeply, like no one else. She always used to say that she'd marry him if she could see him. Suddenly, one day someone donated her a pair of eyes.

And that's when she finally saw her boyfriend. She was astonished to see that her boyfriend was blind. He told her, "You can see me now, can we get married?"

She replied, "And do what? We'd never be happy. I have my eye sight now, but you're still blind. It won't work out, I'm sorry."

With a tear in his eye and a smile on his face, he meekly said, "I understand. I just want you to always be happy. Take care of yourself, and my eyes."

Once there was a family of a father and his only daughter who was one eyed named Linda. As he works hard,to give light on his daughter's eyes. The daughter loves her father a lot but the father was much busy with work. The daughter used to talk herself lonely at home, she used to say,
“ Daddy is always busy, he gets up at six o’clock and go to work having breakfast. He is an amazing daddy and best in the world. I love him forever. I miss you a lot , daddy. I wish I saw you more daddy.”
After her father arrival, she asked her father, “why do you after been so long, daddy? I love you, I miss you.” Her father replied, “oh! Linda! I know, I miss you too. But I have to work to keep food on the table” , the daughter asked, “ I know but why?” The father replied, “honey I also wish to have more time with you, but I wanted you to be happy.” The girl said, “I wish you don’t have to go all the time.” “oh Linda! I know honey”, father replied.
One day the daddy came with a pink rose and gave it to his daughter. The girl asked, “Do you love me?” Father replied, “yes my girl.” The girl said again, “I love you too daddy.”
Few day later, the girl was dreaming a picture for her father and thinking that , “Every day is the same, he is always gone, can’t he just stay a longer? ”
When her daddy arrived she showed the picture to her daddy “Look what I did for you, daddy” the girl said. Father replied, Wow! That’s beautiful, thank you. Girl said “I love you daddy, I miss you”,
“I missed you too Linda” father replied.
Again, another day the daughter dressed up specially for her father.
-Do you notice me, daddy?
- O! Linda
-How is your day?
-O Linda! I am so exhausted, I am going to bed early tonight.
The girl felt disappointed “He doesn’t see me. Daddy, why don’t you see me?” the girl thought herself.

One day the father met an accident while coming at home and died.
She was waiting for her father but a police came to her and told about her fathers accident and gave her a message from her daddy that reads “I love you more, take my eye to see.”........

Moral: Thought we work hard for the betterment of our beloved one, we should give them time too.who knows when death will Snatch us up.

Once there was an old woman living in a village. She had only one daughter named Sara who was married and used to live in a city far from the village with her husband and only son. One day she got a call from her mother. Her mother asked Sara how she was doing and how her son-in-law and grandson was. Sara replied that they were all doing fine but Sara was a bit sick as she worked very hard in the office. As soon as Sara's mother heard that, she wanted to visit Sara's house. Sara tried to convince her that there was no need to come.
The old woman was not satisfied. When Sara was little and she used to fall sick her mother would make chicken soup for her. So she gathered all the ingredients for soup and set out for the city. After much difficulties she made it to Sara's house.
Sara was having dinner with her son when her mother rang the bell. She was surprised to see her mother but at the same time happy. Her mother went to the kitchen to make chicken soup for Sara and grandson. But to Sara's surprise she found that her mother was messing up the kitchen as she worked. When the dish was ready Sara saw the soup had feathers in it and her son didn't want to have it. The old lady was very hurt and left the house the next day.
Sara felt upset and after some days she went to the village to visit her mother. She saw her other in the varanda sitting alone. Though Sara stood a few feet from her her mother, she could not see her. She went to her mother and took her hands in her and asked what had happened. Her mother told her that she was losing eye sight day by day and soon she won't be able to see anymore. Sara understood why that day her mother messed up the soup and that nothing can beat a mother's love for their children.

Title: A helpful boy

Once there was a small boy named john. He belonged to a poor family.  One day, he was crossing through the forest carrying some woods. He saw an old man who was very hungry. John wanted to give him some food, but he did not have food for his own. So he continued on his way. On his way, he saw a deer who was very thirsty.  He wanted to give him some water, but he did not have water for himself. So he went on his way ahead. Then he saw a man who wanted to make a camp but he did not have woods. John asked his problem and gave some woods to him.  In return, he gave him some food and water. Now he went back to the old man and gave him some food and gave some water to the deer. The old man and the deer were very happy. John then happily went on his way.

However, one day John fell down the hill. He was in pain but he couldn’t move and no one was there to help him.  But, the old man who he had helped before saw him, he quickly came and pulled him up the hill. He had many wounds on his legs. The deer whom John had given water saw his wounds and quickly went to the forest and brought some herbs. After some time his wounds were covered. All were very happy that they were able to help each other.

Moral: If you help others, then they will also help you.

Bond of love

A very loving couple had been married for over 10 years without any child and it was becoming their 11th year.  Zara and Veer stayed with each other and greatly hoped that they will have a child before their 11th year of marriage runs out because they were under persuasion from friends and family members to get a divorce.  But they couldn’t let go because of the strong bond of love between them.  Months passed and one day, while Veer was returning from work, he saw his wife walking down the road with a man.
Months passed and one day, while veer was returning from work, he saw his wife walking down the road with a man.  The man had his arms around her neck and they looked very happy.  For over a week, he saw the same man with his wife at various places and one evening while veer was returning from work he saw the man drop her off at the house after giving her a kiss on the cheek.  Dave was angry and sad but he didn’t spoke of it with his wife.
Two days later after a hectic day at work, Veer was taking water with a glass jug from the dispenser when the phone rang.  He picked it up and the person said, ”Hello dear, I’ll be coming to your house this evening to see you as promised.”  Veer hung up the phone.  It was a male voice and he was sure the person was the man he had always seen his wife with.  He suddenly became shaky with the thought that he has lost his wife to another man.  The glass jug fell from his hand and shattered into pieces.

His wife came running into the room asking, ”Is everything okay?”  In anger, he gave his wife a push and she fell.  She wasn’t moving or getting up.  Veer then realized that she fell where he broke the glass jug.  A large piece of glass had pierced her.  He felt her breath, pulse, and heartbeat but there she lay lifeless.  In a total confusion, he saw an envelope in her hand.  He took it, opened it and was shocked by its content – it was a letter.
“My loving husband, words cannot express how I feel so I had to write it down. I have been going to see a doctor for over a week and I wanted to be sure before I give you the news.
The doctor confirmed it that I am pregnant with a twin and our baby is due 2 months from now.  The same doctor is my long lost brother whom I lost contact with after our marriage. He has promised to take care of me and our baby and give us the best without collecting a dime.He also promised to have dinner with us today.  Thanks for staying by my side.
Your loving wife.
The letter fell from his hand.  There was a knock at the door and the same man he had seen with his wife came in and said, ”Hello Veer, I suppose I’m right. I am Max, the brother of your wife”  Suddenly, Max noticed his sister lying in a pool of her blood.  He rushed her to the hospital and she was in a coma.  She had lost her twins.

Moral: We should not be too quick to take unnecessary actions in our relationship.

Abhi was an Bangladeshi guy. He was 15 years old. He used to take tutoring because he was weak in Math. At his tutoring centre, he met with a girl and her name was Nidhi. They used to sit together in their classes. Then they started to hang out together. As the time passed, they felt in love with each other. Everything was going alright and they were together for 3 years. Then suddenly, Nidhi’s parents came to know about their relationship. As according to Bangladeshi culture, girls are not allowed to have those types of relationships, so they order her to stop talking with that guy. They did not even like Abhi because they believed that he was a gangster or vagabond. As a result, they withdrew everything from Nidhi including her cell phone, room, and closet etc. They did not even allow her to go out of the house by herself. Nidhi tolerated all of this harsh behavior because she loved Abhi so much. As the time passed, the behavior of Nidhi’s parents kept on getting worse. They started to beat her and consequently, after few months she got fed up and decided to leave Abhi. She stopped talking with him.

Abhi did not knew about her parents, so he kept on protecting their relation but he remained unable everytime he tried. After sometime, Abhi started to hate Nidhi because he was thinking that she betrayed him. But when he came to know about the condition of Nidhi, he decided to sacrifice his love for the good of Nidhi because he did not wanted her to get hurt by her parent’s rude behavior only due to him. He wanted Nidhi to live her life happily so he sacrificed his love and left the country.
