
A group of 40 students from Law Department of Daffodil International University visited Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, on 13th March 2017. It was a day-long visit. The students participated in a conference meeting with the CMM and other Magistrates. After that conference session students are carried out to visit courts and tribunals for understanding trial process and to interact with the concern. They observed how a trial holding, evidence taking process, pronouncing judgment and orders from a trial court.
Department of Law of Daffodil International University has arranged this successful Court Visit program on Monday,13 the March, .2017. It is an important part of their academic activities and this program was initiated by Dr. Kudrat-E-Khuda Sir, associate professor of Law and assisted by the Faculty members. This program started with a conference by the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Division Sheikh Hafizur Rahman and with His cordial cooperation ended by visiting trail at several Court rooms.
This academic activity provides a distinctive opportunity for the students of Law as it helps them to acquire advanced knowledge about the court proceedings which is a very much important for their career oriented goals. And at the same students will find it helpful, while studying the theoretical terms in their class and will be able to compare and achieve proper practical knowledge.
