Teachers Leave Related issue

This is to inform you that the Casual Leaves of the teachers will be approved by respective Deans of the Faculties and Earned Leave, Medical Leave, Leave without pay, Study Leave, Maternity Leave and Duty Leave of teachers will be approved by honorable Vice-Chancellor. The applications of teachers for all types of leaves must be processed through Heads of the Departments and Deans of the Faculties.

Students of M.Sc. in Textile Engineering are advised to take their exam clearance from accounts section by paying their installment within 20/07/2012.


Kindly note that the lecture of the other courses will be held as usual after completion of the exams on that day.


Students are request to pay the dues & collect Admit card from Accounts Department.

Kindly note that payment can only be made on week days (Not in Friday)

DIU Library workshop

Respected All,

We are delighted to inform all of you that DIU Library has organized a two days workshop on Automation of Information Institutions using koha-ILS and MARC 21 held on July 13-14, 2012. Twenty two participants were present  from different institutions in the workshop. It has successfully completed and participants' feedback was remarkable. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of DIU and Professor Dr. M. Nasiruddin Munshi , Dept. of Information Science and Library Management--University of Dhaka, President--Library Association of Bangladesh (LAB) were present in the workshop as chief guest and special guest respectively. Professor Munshi was requested to the authority of DIU to continue organize the same workshop for the betterment of the library professionals as well as to enhance the image of DIU library. LAB president was encouraged to the library professionals for participating in the workshop. He expressed that it was my duty to organize such type of workshop rather it was organized and successfully completed by DIU Library.

 (Mid Term Improvement Examination)

 Students of the Faculty of science & information Technology, willing to sit for the Mid term improvement examination (Summer-2012), are advised to submit their application to the respective Head of the department of July 26, 2012. They are also advised to get clearance from the accounts section by paying 20% of the individual course fee on or before July 24, 2012.

 

The improvement examination will be held on July 30-31, August 1-2, 2012 (the exact date and time of the examination will be announced later)

As per approval of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor we are going to form “Textile Club” in the department. In this regard the students are suggested to apply for the following positions:-
1.   President – Must be from Level-3 and having minimum CGPA-3.25
2.   Secretary
3.   Treasurer
Document to be submitted
a.   A cover letter
b.   An academic CV with recommendation letter from a faculty member
c.   Proof of extracurricular activities and any other documents to support your application
d.   A proposal detailing your plan of activities if you are selected for the post.   
Last date of submission is 25/07/2012. Submit your application in the office of TE. For further information contact to TE office.

Students of  Daffodil International University are hereby notified that the last date of completing Teaching Evaluation Form for Summer 2012 semester by using Internet has been extended up to 14 August 2012. Please communicate with Coordination Officer of your respective department to learn the process, if necessary. Students must have an email ID of the university to complete Teaching Evaluation.

 
The result of the Final Examination for Summer 2012 semester of a student will not be published and the registration for the next semester will be aborted if any one fails to complete Teaching Evaluation in time.
