As you already know that the DIU 10th Course Project Fair is going to be held on December 09, 2013 in DIU Auditorium, Prince Plaza, we would like to have the kind participation from students of Daffodil International University.

For registering a project, students should fill up the registration form attached herewith. Each project can contain a maximum of 5 students. Each student need to pay Taka 50/- for registering in this Course Project Fair.

Registration form is available to TE deaprtment and you are suggested to collect is as soon as possible

It is to notify to all the students of TE that, due to unavoidable situation the improvement exam scheduled to take place today (November 28, 2013) at 4:00PM to 5:30PM is postponed and rescheduled to take place on Saturday (November 30, 2013) at 10 AM to 11:30AM at room no. 701 and 702 as announced. Rest of the exams will be conducted as scheduled.

Students are requested to be present at sharp 7:00 am in the Manik Mia Avenue on 15 February 2014 on the occasion of 12th Founding Anniversary. All the students must wear his/her ID Card to get into the buses. This is very important. Moreover, the permanent campus is now well protected with a boundary wall and no one will be allowed to enter without having ID card.  Thus students can be identified easily and we can keep away outsiders too to avoid any unexpected situation.


All responsible administrative employees and teachers are requested to ensure that all the students are holding their ID Cards in their assigned buses.

Mid-term Examination Improvement - Spring 2014


Students of the Faculty of Engineering (FE) willing to sit for the Mid-term Examination Improvement (Spring 2014), are advised to get clearance from the accounts section by paying required fees for each course and submit their application to the respective department by March 29, 2014.

The improvement examination will be held from March 31 to April 03, 2014. The exact date and time of the examination will be announced by the examination committee members of the respective department.

It is hereby notified to all the students of Dept. of Textile Engineering that their course registration for the Summer-2014 Semester will be held from May 04 to May 08, 2014 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in Room no 201 according to the following schedule. The Faculty Members will help the students in the registration process. Without the course registration, students will not be allowed to enter into the class and their name and ID will not be recorded in the attendance register.

Subject: Project, Industrial Attachment, & Comprehensive Viva

The Comprehensive Viva (TE-411) of Summer-2014 semester will be held from July 15, 2014 (Tuesday). Defense of Project (TE407/417/4214) of Spring- 2014 & Industrial attachment viva (TE410/418/431) of Summer-2014 will be held after completion of Comprehensive Viva (TE-411/419/432) (after Eid-Ul-Fiter). Further details will be notified later. In this regard concerned students are suggested to submit one copy of their Project/Thesis & Internship report with CD to the department on or before July 14, 2014.



Both the project/thesis and industrial attachment report must be written as per DIU guidelines which is available in the DIU Forum or students can collect from their supervisors.


Students must clear their dues by July 14, 2014.

If anybody fails to clear his/her dues within the aforementioned date, his/her comprehensive viva, project presentation & industrial attachment will not be held.
