from Jibonananda Dash

tajallinur:
Where crops are singing, in earth's ear
Like paddy of gold
Where it fruits
May be, one day, no one ever knows
You and me
Paused silently like a cool oyster
Will lay there
Where star's ray falls for all night long
Where wing of ocean blows
And sings with her delight flows.

Shamim Ansary:
I found an interesting feelings. Reading Jibonanda Das in Bengali is more "subjective" than in English!

tajallinur:
yes, Bangla is more rich than English.

yousuf ali:
the source of Bangla literacy is full of diamond like Najrul, Robi Tagor, Jibonananda Dash, Humayn, Jafor Iqbal  etc

fatema_diu:
