Intake for National ICT Internship (Batch-7)
Bangladesh Government has taken National ICT Internship Program to develop a large pool of skilled ICT professional.
Under this program eligible candidates will be given internship for 6 months to gain practical experience in different ICT
companies or in Government organisations. The practical experience will be helpful for employment in the ICT sector.
Duration of the Internship : 6 months (fixed)
Number of Interns : 500 (five hundred)

Qualifications:

(a) Bachelor Degree in CS/CSE or CS/CSE students studying in 4th year with the permission of
University/educational institute or 4-year diploma certificate holder in any ICT subject from
Government recognized institutes or Graduate in any subject with 1-year Post Graduate
Diploma in any ICT or equivalent subject.;
(b) Bangladeshi citizen with a foreign degree in ICT or equivalent subject can also apply.
Allowances for Interns : (a) Intern will get allowance Tk. 5000/- per month during Internship. Government will
provide 60% (Tk.3,000) and the rest 40% (Tk.2,000) will be provided by the
company or Government organisation taking the services of the Intern. No other
allowances/financial benefits will be provided.
(b) Only in some limited case of Government organisations, 100% allowance will be
paid from Internship fund.

Application Procedure : Interested candidates are requested to apply in the prescribed form. The form may be
downloaded from BCC’s website (www.bcc.net.bd) or may be collected from BCC’s office during office hours. Two
Passport-size photographs and attested copies of Marksheets/Transcripts of SSC, HSC and other academic degrees
have to be submitted with the application.

Submission of Application : The application along with requisite documents has to be submitted in the box at BCC
Bhaban or may be sent by post on or before 04.10.2009. Incomplete and late application will not be accepted or
processed.

Selected Candidates : The candidates who satisfy the requirements as mentioned above will be selected for written
test. The list of these selected candidates will be published on BCC’s website.

Date and Time of Test : Written Test will be held on 23.10.2009, Friday at 10.30 A.M.

Venue : Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Girls’ High School, Agargaon, Dhaka-1207

Admit cards of the selected candidates: Admit cards will be sent to the selected candidates by post. If a candidate
does not receive it within 20.10.2009, he/she may collect it from BCC Office.
