Open Question Regarding a Feeling

Suppose you are employed by an organization. It is you who have given the direction by your boss that “scrutinize, verify and check all the papers/documents before getting the approval from me. And if you find any application/document submitted incomplete or without proper official formalities, don’t receive this for further processing and return without any hesitation.” One day, an employee of the top level management submitted an application/document by his office peon in your office for getting the approval of it from your direct boss. Whenever you were receiving the document, you found that it was incomplete and submitted without some backup documents without which your boss will not approve it. For bearing this in your mind, you phoned the applicant that “Sir please submit the backup documents without which it might not be approved.” After hearing your comment, he/she fired with bad temper and made some bad comments regarding your office/authority and put down the receiver with anger (without completing the talk). It is just like the closing of doors before a beggar. What would be your feeling at the moment? What would you do at the same time?



N. B. It is mentionable here that some incomplete documents have already been refused by your boss submitted before and he reminds you again “don’t process incomplete documents.”
