SK Sinha made new chief justice

Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha, the senior judge of Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC), has been appointed as chief justice of Bangladesh.
The order will be effective from January 15.
The President in exercise of his power under article 95 (1) of the Constitution made the appointment.

A gazette of notification. issued in this regard .

Justice Sinha, popularly known as SK Sinha, will replace Justice M Muzammel Hossain who retires on January 16.
