Now-a-days, most of the students have the mobile phone. Some students have expensive phones, which have lots of facilities including internet. Even, cheep rated multimedia phones have the facility of internet.Students can access the internet for getting the texts, notes, e-books etc. Opera Mini or UC browser are widely used browsers for Mobile phones (Symbian and Java operating system) which help the users accessing HTTP page also. There are lots of materials for the students of English Language and literature in the internet (Clipsnotes, sparknotes, bookrags, iep, etones....) which are accessible by the phones.

So far as I know "English in Action" has taken this project - to tecah Englsih to the rural teachers through mobile phone device. Mike Solly is the CEO of the project.
In the era of technology we should try to find out the ways to untilize technology in our education sector. Mobile phone learning can be of great help for us.

Dear Ms.Suraiya

It is not possible for all students of the whole country to do a speaking course together. If one group of students get a good piece of daily conversation they can send it to their friends and family via mobile sms. Of course, teachers and self access centre can be better source of conversation.

Thanks

This topic is an updated one I think. To cope with the students of 21st century,we have to know the language of technology.

I have also found the idea of sharing conversation text helpful.
