Literary web- http://www.shmoop.com/old-man-the-sea/resources.html

This website contains summary and critical analysis of many literary texts. It is slightly different from other websites like Sparknote.com, Bookrags.com, enotes.com and others. It will help anyone to find out the quotes related to a particular theme. BEST OF THE WEB    option contains some useful links regarding the text that you are looking for, such as interviews of the author, biography, TV production, reviews and so on.

Click on to see some views of the web site-

I have attached a ppt file on Transitions. This power point file focuses on some basic uses of transitions. For example -
Corruption is not a big issue only in Bangladesh; in fact, corruption is spread everywhere in the world.

Transitions those have been discussed are given below:

Addition (Moreover, Furthermore, In addition, Besides)
Reinforcement/Emphasis (Indeed, In fact)
Exemplification (For example, For instance, In particular)
Contrast (However, On the contrary, In contrast, On the other hand)
Result or Effect (Consequently, Accordingly, Thus, Hence, Therefore, As a result)
Time [Meanwhile (at the same time), Subsequently (after), Thereafter (after) ]

Hope new learners shall enjoy it.
